Three European powerhouses set sights on Lingard

Real Madrid, Inter Milan, and Paris Saint-Germain are ready to enter a transfer tug-of-war for Manchester United loanee Jesse Lingard in the summer.
After failing to register a single Premier League appearance in the first half of the season, Lingard left United to join West Ham on a six-month loan.
The winger’s decision to fancy his chances in London has proved to be a massive success so far.
During his brief spell under David Moyes, the 28-year-old has racked up eight goals and four assists in only nine Premier League appearances.
Indeed, Lingard has turned from an Old Trafford scapegoat into one of the division’s headline performers, earning a fair share of plaudits for his heroic performances in the capital.
The Englishman’s blistering showings in the second half of the season have prompted Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to consider giving him a place in Manchester.
Although the Norwegian manager already assesses the prospect of bringing Lingard back to base, he has to be aware of growing interest in his loanee’s services.
According to the Daily Express, Real Madrid, PSG, and Inter are all in the running for the England international’s signature.
Moreover, West Ham are hell-bent on keeping Lingard beyond the summer and are ready to meet United’s £30million asking price.
Elsewhere, Los Blancos last signed a player from United in 2008 when Cristiano Ronaldo swapped allegiances in a blockbuster £100million deal.
Curiously, only four English players wore the coveted white jersey this millennium. Michael Owen, David Beckham, Steve McManaman, and Jonathan Woodgate played at the Santiago Bernabeu since the turn of the century.
Meanwhile, Inter have already established a habit of capturing United outcasts. Ashley Young, Romelu Lukaku, and Alexis Sanchez have all exited Old Trafford to work under Antonio Conte over the past couple of years.
PSG are also in the race, but they first need to sort out the outgoings, with the futures of Mauro Icardi and Pablo Sarabia hanging in the balance.
