Milan Working on Signing Chelsea Outcast

Romelu Lukaku may not be the only Chelsea forward to move to Serie A this season.
After sanctioning the Belgian's temporary return to Inter Milan, the Pensioners are now working on offloading Hakim Ziyech to AC Milan.
Things have not gone the Moroccan's way since his €40m arrival from Ajax in 2020.
Despite joining Chelsea as one of Europe's finest wingers, the 29-year-old has flopped at Stamford Bridge.
Out of Thomas Tuchel's plans, he made just 13 Premier League starts in 2021/22, often playing second fiddle to Mason Mount and Christian Pulisic.
As per The Sun, Chelsea are open to letting their out-of-favour star switch to Milan on a season-long loan with an option to buy.
Ziyech has already handed in a transfer request, handing the Rossoneri's pursuit a huge boost.
That bodes well for the Italians' hopes of getting the deal over the line as they have to work on a tight budget.
It would take up to a €6m loan fee to convince the Blues to give the go-ahead, with the Rossoneri contemplating a bid.
Negotiations between Milan and Ziyech's representatives are well underway, with the player enthusiastic about the prospect of moving to Serie A.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the newly-crowned Italian champions will accelerate talks with Chelsea in the coming days.
In addition to Ziyech, Milan are keen on landing outgoing Real Madrid forward Marco Asensio.
The 26-year-old has tumbled down the pecking order at the Santiago Bernabeu and could wave goodbye to the Champions League holders this summer.
However, a path leading to the Spaniard's signature could be tumultuous as Liverpool are long-term admirers of Asensio.
